VAT Compliance Specialist

Our client is a VAT boutique firm located between Amsterdam and Utrecht. The firm specializes in VAT advisory and VAT compliance services and consists exclusively of VAT specialists. These VAT specialists provide VAT advisory and compliance services to both national and international businesses, as well as high-net-worth individuals. The firm has a strong international network and also handles non-Dutch VAT returns. In addition, the firm acts as a fiscal representative for foreign entrepreneurs.

Due to the growth of the firm, we are recruiting a VAT Compliance Specialist who is currently living in the Amsterdam/Utrecht region. You have between 1-6 years' VAT compliance experience. As a VAT Compliance Specialist, you will perform VAT compliance work for mainly international clients and collaborate closely with the VAT advisory team. Within the VAT Compliance practice, there is significant scope for new initiatives and opportunities to shape your own professional development.

The firm offers advanced VAT training programs and actively supports your continued growth and career progression.

• Performing VAT compliance activities for international clients (and national clients if possible).
• Working closely with VAT advisors on a variety of projects.
• Participating in internal and external meetings.
• Identifying potential VAT issues based on compliance matters and ultimately converting these into advisory opportunities, in cooperation with your colleagues.
• Supporting the VAT partners in further expanding the practice.
• Develop yourself, participate in training courses, expand your vat network, grow within the company.

• Completed relevant finance or economic or tax study.
• Approx 1-6 years of VAT compliance experience.
• Accurate, numerically strong, and practical.
• Good communication skills, hands-on, engaged, and flexible.
• Good in English (Dutch is a plus but no must).
